Oldies music isn’t just boring easy listening, but a documentation of how music has been revolutionized over the past several decades. “I don’t care what people say, rock n roll is hear to stay!” Danny & The Juniors sang this line way back in ’58, and they were right! Whether you like to dance to it, sing-along to it in your car, or have it on as background music, these oldies songs will take you back to the good old days of hanging out with friends in the school parking lot and pining away for the class president.

MUSIC IS MY LIFE....... I like all different types of music from alternative to old school.. 50's, 60's, 70's, some 80's, rock n roll, rockabilly, country, easy listening, motown, Pop, Rock, modern dance tunes.. to hip hop and some rap...Everybody's got to have it Rhythm. You can't live without it. When you hear your favorite song it triggers the rhythm section in your heart.

The Coasters

The Coasters were one of the greatest vocal acts of the 1950s, and their songs remain among the most entertaining in pop history. They had numerous hits (almost all penned and produced by the legendary Leiber & Stoller), but the two tracks that still play heavily today are "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown." However, as perfect as these two songs are, the rest of the Coasters' catalog offers plenty of humor, irony and sly social observations. Many of Lieber & Stoller's finest numbers, from "Three Cool Cats" to "Smokey Joe's Café" to "Riot in Cell Block #9," were vehicles for the Coasters and deserve to be heard as often as "Yakety Yak."

Little Richard

Little Richard was among the first 10 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. In 1993 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He performed at Bill Clinton’s presidential inaugural in 1992. In his hometown of Macon he has been honored with a street bearing his name, Little Richard Penniman Boulevard. He has also received the Rhythm & Blues Foundation’s Pioneer Award.
